Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Greg Arnette and I am the Founder and CTO of Sonian, Inc.

What services/products do you offer?

Sonian is a hosted digital content archive service. We archive email, instant messages, Sharepoint, and standard files. Sonian uses a “cloud-compute” infrastructure to achieve incredible reliability and security in order to store information for 3 to 10 years. Customers need to archive for many reasons, but the most common are for compliance, e-discovery and best business practices.

Who/where is your audience?

The Sonian audience is organizations with 100 to 5,000 employees. Historically these organizations have not had access to affordable and reliable archive services. Sonian is both a disruptive business model and technical innovation. We offer a subscription archive service that makes it cost-effective for customers to archive all their data to “the cloud’ compared to doing it themselves with their existing file servers, SANs and tape systems.
