Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Derek Edmond and I work as an online marketing consultant, specializing in search engine marketing (SEM) – which is in helping companies generate traffic, brand awareness, leads and revenue through visibility in search engines like Google and Yahoo.

Professionally, I’m the Director of SEM Strategies at KoMarketing Associates, specializing in B2B Online Marketing – SEO, PPC and Social Media.  I also write about SEO & Social Media, specifically for small businesses & individuals exploring the opportunities for themselves.

What services/products do you offer?

KoMarketing Associates provides online marketing services for companies in a wide range of industries, but specializing in the B2B technology, software and industrial industries.

Our core competencies are search engine marketing and social media strategies.

That includes:
SEO – helping companies with visibility in the traditional results found in search engines like Google and Yahoo
PPC – managing companies strategies for advertising on search engines (the results labeled “Sponsored Listings” when you perform a search)
Social Media – traffic, brand building and communication through social media news and networking sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg, etc)
Corporate Blogging – certainly part of social media but specific to the creation and implementation of a company blogging strategy
