Google Gmail IMAP has disappeared
As of 3:30pm EST, Today April 16, 2008, Google’s Gmail client has started having technical difficulties according to Google. The IMAP feature has completely disappeared and people using the IMAP feature can no longer connect. This also seems to be effecting Google Apps customers.
We await to see what is happening at Google. And will update once we learn more. For now you can still get mail by logging into web based Gmail.
Anyone with a paid Google Apps account experiencing this?
UPDATE:
IT IS BACK UP! 4:45pm EST.
Paid Google Apps accounts do have working IMAP. Thanks Ian Mansfield
After an hour and a half Nothing is posted on either the Google Apps Blog or the Gmail Blog. The Support forums are slow too with no answers just questions as to when this will be back up.
