DesignFTP: FTP for your clients without the FTP client
I don’t want to use this article to promote my business or services. That just wouldn’t be right. But I’m going write a brief post about a helpful service we just released in private beta form that I think will help out many business people who work with large files and their clients. I promise not to give you any sales pitch or promotion and just give you the facts of what we created, why we created it and let you try it out and decide if it’s good or not.
DesignFTP is a new service for designers, web developers, architects, printers, or anyone that requires clients to transfer large files to them. Through the years, we have found that clients only know about email as a way to send files. Email is only meant to handle small files and not huge data or photo files that are 5MB or larger. Anything larger than 5MB should really be transferred via FTP. Continue…
