Review: Dropbox
Dropbox is a nice little application and service that allows you to store and share files. It seamlessly integrates with your file system and appears as a folder which you can drag and drop files into. The files act as if they are on your local machine but really they are being stored on a server. I know what you are thinking. Just what I need! Another file sharing application!
Well, this one is a bit different. All your files are version controlled and and can be recovered at any time using the online web interface. Don’t have your own computer but need a file? No problem, Dropbox allows you to login online and download or manage your files right from the website wherever you are. Pretty neat, huh?
