Good summary. Just a comment concerning Safari and the iMAC. We use the iMAC for family activities and I use the PC for business "stuff". Because of shortcomings in Safari, I have had to go to Firefox on the iMAC. For even the most casual user, there are speed and functionality differences to motivate to the Firefox. We have been delighted with the changes. I am always amazed to see that IE seems to be chasing the MAC environment for speed and functionality. They are at least one giant step behind!

Great overview of these Beta's Chris. I've seen a great shift of PC users over to Firefox in past years, which is good news for us, but IE8 really shows promise as well for web standards...finally!
