LaDainian Vader and Crying in Football

darthvader-phot.jpgNow don’t get me wrong - for full disclosure, I am a Patriots fan - and I do think LaDainian Tomlinson is one of the most incredible running backs in the NFL today. Period. But…come on.

He’s a sulker. Yup a major league, sulking cry-baby. And I don’t buy this article from the San Diego Tribune.

Yes it was cold. But it wasn’t Green Bay cold. You could have ditched the shades and showed your teammates you were at least watching the game. Or stand by the sidelines and cheer them on.

But, as Pats fans - we know you are a baby. You are a great player - but you are not a leader. And that’s a shame.

You cried when the Pats won at San Diego in Jan 2007 in the playoffs. They made fun of Shawne Merriman’s dance. Well, LT, I have a few things for you. If Shawne was more interested in playing than swaying, and if you want to defend a player known for being classless, cheating and cheap shots, go ahead. But my biggest piece of advice for you:

If you don’t want a team celebrating on your field WIN THE DAMN GAME!

Football is about Teams - not about how you personally feel. Get over it. And get back to doing what you are paid copious amounts of dead presidents for, and what you are good at.

Because the crying game isn’t for sports. It’s for Oprah. I don’t watch Oprah. I watch football. And if I have to put up with one more of these videos on Terrell Owens crying over Tony Roma and Jessica Simpson, I am going to puke.
